In December 2015, the doors of Central Library opened for a special Christmas Sunday Funday funded by The Oglesby Charitable Trust, Manchester Central Library Development Trust and ManchesterCity Council. It included Storytime with Dad, the opportunity to meet Father Christmas and reindeer, Christmas Music and Christmas Archives.
